A code is generated for each advertising space, which can be integrated on the respective website. Depending on the type of advertising space, there are several code variants:
- Script (JavaScript code)
- asyc. Script (asynchronous JavaScript code)
- iFrame (website in the website)
- AMP
- Mobile XML interface
- VAST URL
- Direct Link
- Newsletter API URL
- RTB Endpoint URLs
- ...
The only difference is the type of output, e.g. as iframe (website in the website) or script/asyc. Script (JavaScript code) etc..
Advantages and disadvantages of the different advertising space codes
In addition, it is possible to combine script and iFrame code variants to achieve the highest possible availability. The script code is noted within the IFrame code or the IFrame code is noted within the noscript area.
Note: Never use the code specified in the noscript section alone.
