A normal banner is a "stupid" banner. The viewpixel is called and the adserver counts the view.
A Passback-Banner works differently: A script is output instead of the pixel for the view.
The script evaluates:
- Either the feedback display is not accepted
- Promotional OK is accepted
- Or wait 300 milliseconds to get the viewpixel
The view is therefore counted when the adserver has received positive feedback, or when the waiting time has elapsed.
Passback-Codewith negative feedback then regulates with the traffic - so the adserver here again for a campaign searches and the campaign the passback has returned, for the further search is locked (so there is no) loop and such stories.
In this case, the deviations are pre-programmed with the view.
This is the waiting is also other scripts, etc. and depending on how complex the advertising material of the customer is, the deviation may be happy times 30%.
30% when counting the views
30% again when returning the passback
Solution: Advertising media that can be loaded quickly and responses. So the 300 milliseconds are enough to go through the process.
