If you have received a code from another ad server from your customer, then it is necessary to replace the placeholders and insert the placeholders for your click tracking. To make this step easier for you there is a function "Insert placeholder". Most codes of other AdServers are known to Adspirit so that your AdServer can insert the placeholders. Here the AdServer goes and adds if necessary the known parameter to be able to append the placeholder.
In the few cases where this is not the case, you are welcome to contact our support.
Placeholders which can be inserted:

| %urlredirect% | Klick-URL mit Redirect auf eine angegebene URL. Beispiel: <a href="%urlredirect% http%3A%2F%2Fwww.meineseite.de">...</a> - Zählt den Klick korrekt im AdServer und leitet dann nicht auf die eingestellte Seite sondern auf http://www.meineseite.de um. Die angehängte URL sollte entsprechend codiert sein. |

| %urlredirect3% | Entspricht %urlredirect% mit codiertem "?". |
| %urlredirect4% | Entspricht %urlredirect2% erneut codiert. |
| %urlredirect[x]_b% | %urlredirect_b% entspricht %urlredirect%, %urlredirect2_b% entspricht %urlredirect2% usw. jeweils mit dem Unterschied, dass zur Parametertrennung kein Kaufmansund (&) sondern ein Semikolon (;) verwendet wird (also etwa pid=3;wmid=44;target=... statt pid=3&wmid=44&target=...). Einige AdServer (z.B. Mediaplex) haben Probleme sobald ein &-Zeichen in der URL vorhanden ist, die "_b" Versionen dienen hierfür als Workaround. |

Function Insert Placeholder
- Creative is inserted and the placeholder [timestamp] is to be replaced by %datetime% and the AdSpirit placeholder for your click tracking is to be inserted. To use the "Insert placeholder" function here, please click on the link under the HTML code field.
- Here opens a window in which you can see the HTML code. The suggestion of the AdServer how the code should be adapted is already inserted here. To test the function here, i.e. whether the placeholder works correctly, please click on the creative.
- Now if the placeholders are inserted correctly, an intermediate page should open with: Click successful! Redirect to: ... Here you can see the link contained in the advertiser's code.
- Clicking on the link will then take you to the target page of the creative
- If everything is correct now, go back to your Wizzart window and click on: "Apply code".
- Then save your modified creative!
