Sometimes, it is necessary not to bill a publisher automatically but to manage the publisher account manually. In such cases, credits can be created and booked manually to enable flexible and individual billing.
Create Credit
Navigate to Administration → Accounting → Invoice. There you will find an overview of all automatically created entries as well as the option to create manual credits.
To create a new credit, click on "New Commission Statement (Credit)". This opens an entry form where you can enter the relevant data for manual billing.
Adjust all preset values in the entry form according to the desired credit. Select the corresponding Publisher and carefully check the information. You also have the option to customize the additional text to include specific information or notes.
Here is an example of how the credit will be displayed in the PDF with the entered values.
A new entry now appears in the billing overview. Clicking on the invoice number allows you to view the credit as a PDF. Alternatively, clicking on the recipient's name takes you directly to the corresponding publisher account.

Important Notes on Booking and Account Management:
- The booking date does not affect future billing. It only appears under this date in the list.
- An account note fulfills the requirements to adjust the account balance accordingly.
- The amount must be entered with a negative sign (-xx.xx) as it is a write-off.
Description: These entries help ensure that bookings are recorded correctly and that all write-offs are properly displayed in the system. Make sure that amounts are always entered with a minus sign to ensure correct processing.
Do not forget to save the entry after making adjustments to apply the changes.
