Functionality:
If "Browser-Window-Targeting" is activated, the ad space checks the browser window width/height in advance and compares it with the settings made.
a) If the settings are correct, the creative will be delivered normally.
b) If the settings do not apply (e.g. width smaller than minimum width), the insertion remains empty. There is no banner delivery or delivery of the default code. The count is done as "Request inappropriate"
Settings:
Placements -> Allgemein
- Browser-Window-Targeting can be activated/deactivated at the placements. If you want to turn on targeting for this placement, select "Yes".
- Once this selection has been made, the boxes for the possible values are displayed. Now the min width, max width, min height, max height can be defined.
Application example:
A wSky 160x600 is integrated in the right sidebar of the page. If the browser window is smaller than 1000 pixels (=width of the web page) the wSky should not be displayed because otherwise it would not be visible. Settings made for the advertising space: Browser window targeting=yes, min-width=1000, max-width=999999, min-height=0, max-height=999999
