If an creative or campaign does not appear on a certain website/placement, there may be various reasons for this, here are the most important ones:
Campaign settings
- The campaign is not active
- The campaign date is before/after the current date
- The maximum number of adverts per page has been reached
- The targeting of the campaign prevents the advert from being displayed
- The campaign's frequency capping prevents the advert from being displayed
- Campaign optimisation prevents the ad from being displayed
- CTR optimisation prevents the ad from being displayed
- The campaign has already reached its daily/hourly targets (e.g. number of views booked)
- A mutual campaign exclusion applies ("do not show campaign A to visitors who have already seen campaign B")
- The campaign requires consent according to TCFv2, as a function requiring consent is activated
Creative
- Creative is not active
- Creative is not labelled as asynchronous-capable
- Creative is a linked advertising material but there is not enough placements available
- Creative is marked as "requires script delivery" but the placement is integrated as an IFrame
- Creative requires consent according to TCFv2, as a function requiring consent is activated (xxx)
Booking
- The campaign/ creative is not booked
- The campaign/creative is only booked for a specific website/advertising space
- The campaign has been excluded for this website/placement/channel
- The format of the advertising material does not match the format of the advertising space (e.g. 728x90 banner on 120x600 advertising space)
- The type of creative does not match the type of advertising space (e.g. banner on pop-up placement)
- Other campaigns with a higher priority are booked and receive the traffic
