Automatic update of ads.txt
In order to allow automatic updates of ads.txt or app-ads.txt files you can download the .htaccess file from websites-list > ads.txt. Place the .htaccess file in the www-root of your webserver or (if a .htaccess file already exists, add the content of the file to the existing file). Once the file is present, you can test it by opening the URL of the ads.txt file in your browser (e.g. yourwebsite.com/ads.txt). The ads.txt URL should redirect you to the adservers ads.txt output (e.g. https://yourcompany.adspirit.de/adstxt.php?wsid=123)
Content of the ads.txt file
The adserver can automatically create the content of the ads.txt file from multiple sources. Therefore you find an input field for ads.txt content under:
- Advertiser > Other
- Websites > Other
- Settings > (Other) > ads.txt
The adserver will automatically combine all these sources into a single file when downloading the ads.txt file or accessing it via the ads.txt URL from the adserver (see manual or automatic update above).
