Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

If you would like to use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your company, please contact support@adspirit.de. Our support team will be happy to activate the module for you.

Availability

2FA is available for all login types:

• Main Administrator
• User (Employee)
• Publisher
• Advertiser

Activation for the Main Administrator

The Main Administrator can independently activate or change the desired authentication method in the settings. After activation, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will be automatically applied at the next login of the main administrator .

The setting for the Main Administrator can be found under Settings (1) -> Security (2) -> Set 2FA Admin Login (3) -> Save

Activation by Users

Users with the appropriate permissions (access to user management) can independently activate 2FA for themselves or other users.

Global Settings -> User Settings -> Users -> Select user record -> Select 2FA type -> Save

Activation for Publishers and Advertisers

For Publishers and Advertisers, 2FA can be activated directly in the respective record. To do this, open the corresponding edit view for the record and select the desired option from the dropdown menu.

Publisher or Advertiser -> Select record -> General -> Select 2FA type -> Save

App for Two-Factor Authentication

If 2FA app is selected as the authentication method, a QR code will automatically be displayed at the next login.

Scan this QR code with a compatible Authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy) to set up 2FA.

After successful setup, you will be prompted at each subsequent login to enter the one-time code generated by the Authenticator app.

Authentication Code via Email

Email => Upon login, a security code is sent via email to the registered email address.
