To ensure that a campaign or ad asset is only played when a certain visibility percentage is reached, Visibility Targeting can be used.
Visibility refers to the ad space, i.e., the request, and is determined when the request is executed.
A special feature occurs when the Scroll into View is enabled for an ad space.
Steps to Set Up Visibility Targeting
- Go to Campaign/Ad Asset and select the relevant ad asset.
- Under the Targeting section, find the option Visibility Targeting.
- Set Visibility Targeting to Yes.
- Now select the conditions that must be met for the campaign to be displayed (e.g., a certain percentage of visibility).
With this setting, it ensures that your ad asset is only delivered when the specified visibility is reached in the user's browser. This helps maximize the effectiveness of your campaign by counting impressions only when the ad asset was actually visible.
